PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable any one of terminals to occupy an exclusive band to make radio communication in a band occupancy radio communication system. SOLUTION: In the disclosed band occupancy radio communication system, when some terminal transmits a band division request via an access point and all the other terminals acknowledge a band division permit, the access point assigns a bandβ(β<α) to the terminal and assigns a band (α-β) to all the other terminals. In this way, the terminal occupies the bandβto make communication, and all the other terminals share the band (α-β) to make communication. When the terminal transmits a band restoring request via the access point and all the other terminals acknowledge a band restoring permit, the access point restores the assignment of the bands.
