EQUIPMENT FOR PASSING METAL STRIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for passing a metal strip in which dry soiling can be prevented while a desired capacity for correcting the meandering of the metal strip is held. SOLUTION: This equipment is used for continuously carrying a steel plate 1 coming out of liquid in which the steel plate is immersed to the downstream through a CPC roll 6a. Liquid on the surface of the steel plate 1 is squeezed by the arrangement of a wringer roll 5 on the upperstream of the CPC roll 6a. A spraying nozzle 7 for spraying water on the surface of the steel plate 1 is arranged in a pass line between the wringer roll 5 and the CPC roll 6a, and water of 5-20 g/m2is sprayed on the surface of the steel plate 1 from the spraying nozzle 7.
