PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add tannins to feedwater so as not to transfer oxygen to steam generated from steam generation equipment such as a boiler or the like. SOLUTION: A method for removing dissolved oxygen in the feedwater of the aqueous plant equipped with the boiler 3 being the steam generation equipment with tannins enables the concentration of tannins 10 added to the feedwater 2 to be determined on the basis of the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the feedwater 2 supplied to the boiler 3. Further, the concentration of tannins 10 added to the feedwater 2 supplied to the boiler 3 is determined on the basis of the concentration of dissolved oxygen in condensed water 6 obtained from steam W (W3) generated from the boiler 3.
