PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmitter, etc., capable of recovering accidents such as loss of a received image due to transfer failure at the automatic transfer of the received image without losing a transfer purpose. SOLUTION: The image transmitter having a function for receiving an image from a communication line and automatically transferring the image is provided with a detection means for detecting the success/failure of the transfer, a judgment means for judging whether the transfer is the automatic transfer of the received image or not and a maintenance means for maintaining the received image at the time of judging the automatic transfer of the received image by the judgment means.
