PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a game player to operate a catching device as his/her intention, move a suspended prize to a prize drop port, and automatically detach the prize from a hook at the prize drop port by freely controlling the operation of a hook type catching device by a console part. SOLUTION: In this automatic prize pick-out apparatus provided with a prize pick-out port 12 for picking out the prize P to the outside, prizes P stored in a transparent case 3 of a game apparatus body are picked up and suspended. The apparatus includes the catching device 4 for suspending a locking hook 8 in a lock hole 18 provided in the prize P, and detaching the hook 8 from the prize P above the prize drop port 13, and operating parts 9, 10 for controlling the catching device 4 or the like.
