PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform mounting and dismounting operations of a power supply device to an electric wheel chair by attaching the power supply device detachably from the electric wheel chair, facilitate the work when folding the electric chair, reduce its weight to carry it, miniaturize it, reduce force for carrying it, and facilitate its carrying by carrying the electric wheel chair with a battery means removed from it. SOLUTION: In the power supply device for the electric wheel chair, a basic part of a seat part is supported on a central part of a frame which is a structural member in which outer shape of the wheel chair is formed into substantially square shape, wheels for running are arranged to the right and left on a lower side and in the front and rear, a battery box storing a battery which becomes power supply for an electric motor is detachably stored between wheels, and a locking device locked in the frame is provided.
