PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eyeground camera equipped with a structure for facilitating work such as maintenance. SOLUTION: A first cover 19 located on the side of a tilt mechanism 9 for covering a main body 5 of the camera is composed of a first plate part 19a configured to be away from the main body 5 of the camera by moving along the axial direction (direction indicated by an arrow A) of a turning shaft 26 and a second plate part 19b configured to be away from the main body 5 of the camera and to open a bonding part 19c in a prescribed form on the first plate part 19a by separating by moving along a direction (direction indicated by an arrow C) approximately orthogonal with the turning shaft 26. Thus, work for attaching or detaching the cover to or from the main body 5 of the camera in maintenance or the like can be easily performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
