PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the drift of a fishing tackle with tidal current by putting chum in a sinker. SOLUTION: A bell-shaped sinker 1 has a hollow part 2 for holding chum. A round cover 3 made of a metal net is put on the bottom of the sinker 1 to prevent the drop of the chum. The cover 3 is openable by turning around a hinge 4. The cover can be held in the closed state with a stopper 5. A tab 6 is formed on the cover (opposite to the hinge) to open the cover by flipping the tab with a finger. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
