PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set which makes it difficult for a user to be troubled by what is called disconnection after a single ring, that an originating telephone number report service is abused and a call is interrupted before hook-off of a called subscriber in order to report a telephone number to the called subscriber for the purpose of business without charging communication expenses to a calling subscriber. SOLUTION: The telephone set is provided with a storage part 108, a transmission/reception part 102 for acquiring the telephone number of the calling subscriber at the time of receiving a call, a count part 105 for detecting the time from the start of the call to the stop of the call at the time of an incoming call, and a disconnection after a single ring discrimination part 107 which instructs a general control part 103 to store the acquired telephone number in the storage part 108 as a reject telephone number, from which connection of following calls is rejected, in the case that the detected time is shorter than a prescribed time.
