PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive capable of improving a compression rate with respect to rotational synchronous vibration without destroying the data of an adjacent track, and highly accurately positioning a head at a high speed without lowering performance even when the rotational synchronous vibration is large. SOLUTION: In a following control loop 2, a follow-up repeating control section 6 is disposed to follow up a low-frequency synchronous rotation vibration component, and a nonfollow-up repeating control section 5 is disposed to cancel a high-frequency rotation synchronous vibration component. Thus, the destruction of adjacent track data caused by unnecessary following-up to the rotation synchronous vibration of a high frequency is prevented, and magnetic head positioning is highly accurately controlled.
