PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive tape for flying splice which minimizes the thickness in bonding area between old and new webs while retaining full ultimate tensile stress and strength for adapting to maximum web tension. SOLUTION: The adhesive tape for flying splice of a flat web material taken up in a roll has an adhesive surface and a non-adhesive rear surface and/or two longitudinal ends (L1 and L2). The adhesive tape has a main support only one side of which is coated with a self-adhesive composition. At least one self-adhesive system is partially established on the non-adhesive rear surface.
