摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the power consumption of an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: A floating diffusion 16 is provided on the output end of a horizontal transfer part 1h and stores information charges transferred through the horizontal transfer part 1h by a packet unit. A first output amplifier 20 whose input terminal is connected to the floating diffusion 16 impedance-converts the potential fluctuation of the floating diffusion 16 and generates output signals Y(t). A first switch transistor 21 is connected between a power supply voltage VD and the first output amplifier 20. The first switching transistor 21 is operated by receiving a first control signal SC1 at a gate and is turned to an OFF state in a vertical synchronizing signal VT and horizontal synchronizing signal HT blanking period.
