PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively and efficiently removing boron designated as a harmful substance from a boron-containing solution. SOLUTION: In a treatment method for the boron-containing solution, magnesium oxide is added to the boron-containing solution and the resulting solution is heated to remove boron through solid-liquid separation treatment.
