PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rainwater falling on an outdoor balancing reservoir from joining into the outdoor balancing reservoir and discharge only rainwater. SOLUTION: A floater 3 moored so as to be movable along the side wall part 1a of the balancing reservoir 1 is floated on the surface of stored leachate 8. The periphery of a water barrier sheet 4 is fixed to the floater 3, and the surface of the stored leachate 8 is covered with the water barrier sheet 4. A weight 5 is installed in the center of the water barrier sheet 4 to form a shape caved in the center of the water barrier sheet 4. When rain falls, the rainwater is stored on the water barrier sheet 4 so as to be separated from the leachate 8, and is floated on the surface of the stored leachate 8. The collected rainwater 7 is drained to the outside of the balancing reservoir 1 by a drainage pump 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
