PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic view finder indication system which can suppress the consumption of battery energy and the heat generation by image indication, by changing the speed of indicating an image in a liquid crystal view finder, corresponding to the motion of a subject. SOLUTION: The image of a subject is picked up by a camera part 17, and the image data are sent to a CPU 14. The CPU 14 captures images at a speed of 15 frames/speed though it was captured them at a speed of 30 frames/second at first unless a motion detection means 14a detects a motion for a certain time. In case that the motion detection means 14a detects the motion within a certain time when its is performing image processing at a speed of 15 frames/ second, it returns the capture speed to that of 30 frames/second. The CPU 14 indicates the processed image data on an LCD 3 after performing image thinning processing so that it can indicate them with the number of picture elements of the image resolution of the LCD 3.
