PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion module, which reduces the height of a thermoelectric element, and facilitates joining of a lead wire capable of carrying large current. SOLUTION: A plurality of thermoelectric elements 13 are disposed between a lower substrate 1 and an upper substrate 2, which are opposite to each other. A lower electrode and an upper electrode, which are, respectively, formed on the opposed faces of the lower substrate 1 and the upper substrate 2, are joined to the thermoelectric elements 13. The lead wire 6a having a totally circular cross section is connected to the lower electrode, with its junction 6b being flatly processed. The circular cross section portion of the lead wire 6a has a diameter which is not smaller than 40% of the height of the thermoelectric conversion elements 13. The flat junction 6b has a width which is 30-90% of the width of the electrode to be joined to, and has a thickness of 0.1 mm or more. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
