PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle of a fishing reel having improved fitness of the hand holding the grip of the handle to enable smooth winding operation. SOLUTION: The handle 2 of the fishing reel has a grip body 12 composed of a cylindrical part 12a passing a supporting shaft 11 therethrough and a grip part 12b to be gripped by hand. The grip body is rotatably attached to the supporting shaft 11 fixed to an end of a handle arm 10 connected to a driving shaft of the reel body 1. The grip part 12b bulged in the radial direction of the cylindrical part 12a has an asymmetric outer circumferential shape in axial direction by forming a nearly spherical form at the handle arm side B and a nearly conical form at the side A opposite to the handle arm based on the maximum peripheral diameter part P of the grip part 12b.
