PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera which can be accurately focused even on a low-luminance subject. SOLUTION: The digital camera is equipped with a 1st photographic system 12A and a 2nd photographic system 12B. The lens group 19A of the 1st photographic system 12A is a wide-angle type single focus lens whose viewing angleαis larger than the viewing angleβof the lens group 19B of the 2nd photographic system 12B, and the lens group 19B of the 2nd photographic system is constituted of a telephoto type single focus lens. The CCD 18A of the 1st photographic system 12A and the CCD 18B of the 2nd photographic system are of the same size, and the CCD 18A is constituted of a CCD having a large number of pixels and low sensitivity, and the CCD 18B is constituted of a CCD having a small number of pixels and high sensitivity.
