<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP communication system in which IP communication can be performed with an IP terminal having an IP address unregistered. <P>SOLUTION: In the IP communication system, a gate keeper (GK) 1 having a main control unit 10, IP gate keeper control unit 11, IP signaling control unit 12, IP address registration table 14, registration table managing unit 15, transmission control unit 16, and analog line control unit 17 is connected to IP terminal devices each having a function for recognizing an incoming call from the GK and an IP address registration processing function for performing IP address registration processing at the time of incoming call from the GK, via an IP network and a public network. When the caller side requests IP connection to the called side, if the called side terminal is not registered in the table 14 after retrieving the table, the GK urges the terminal to register the IP address by analog transmission, and the terminal registers its IP address via the IP network to make communication between the caller side terminal and the called side terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
