<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color area sensor or the like which can increase a color resolution. <P>SOLUTION: The sensor includes CMOS image sensors G(1, 1), B(1, 3),... and G(7, 11) arranged at lattice points of lattices arranged in the form of virtually regular triangles; color filters FG(1, 1), FG(1, 7),..., and FG(7, 7) arranged at three apexes of each regular triangle for passing green (G) light therethrough; color filters FB(1, 3), FB(1, 9),... and FB(7, 9) for passing blue (B) light therethrough; and color filters FR(1, 5), FR(1, 11),... and FR(7, 11) for passing red (R) color light therethrough. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
