PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing bag which enables anyone to inexpensively, easily and safely reduce the volume of infectious medical wastes at anywhere regardless of whether costly apparatus exist or not. SOLUTION: The housing bag used for volume reduction of the infectious medical wastes consists of a thermoplastic film and is equipped with a filter to prevent the escape of pathogenic bacteria during the treatment for volume reduction.
