CLOSE RANGE VISUAL ACUITY TESTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a close range visual acuity tester capable of illuminating a close range visual acuity chart with a proper brightness to examine accurate close range vision and holding the distance between the eye of a subject and the visual acuity chart to a predetermined distance to accurately examine vision. SOLUTION: The close range visual acuity tester is a book type visual acuity tester held by the hand of the subject to be used and a close range visual acuity chart 1 is bonded to the page paper bound inside a door cover 7 left and right openable and closable through a central vertical fold line. The close range visual acuity chart 1 has a positive film 2 as a target sheet wherein a target 4 is formed to a transparent film and the sheetlike surface light emitting element 10 arranged to the back surface of the target sheet and the target 4 of the close range visual acuity chart 1 is illuminated and displayed from the back surface by the emission of light of the surface light emitting element 10.
