摘要 PURPOSE: An in-plane switching mode liquid crystal display is provided to suspend an in-plane electric field on liquid crystal by restraining a parasitic electric field according to gate lines. CONSTITUTION: A lower common electrode(140a) is formed on an inner surface of a lower substrate(100). An upper common electrode(140b) is formed on an upper substrate(170). A conductive post(160) is formed in a liquid crystal layer(195) between pixel electrodes(150) and gate lines(110). The conductive post connects the upper common electrode with the lower common electrode, and interrupts a gate parasitic electric field to improve a rise characteristic of liquid crystal.
