PURPOSE: A device for driving a liquid crystal display is provided to easily adjust white gray scale voltage and black gray scale voltage by adjusting a resistant value of a variable resistance mounted at a liquid crystal display panel assembly. CONSTITUTION: A gray scale voltage generator includes two voltage output units(571,572) generating a plurality of gray scale voltages. An image signal driving unit selects the gray scale voltages corresponding to color signals for applying the selected gray scale voltages to pixels as image signal voltages. A signal control unit receives the color signals and control input signals controlling display of the color signals for controlling the image signal driving unit. At this time, two or more consecutive first gray scale voltages are changeable, and two or more consecutive second grays scale voltages are fixed.
