PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric equipment which is actuated usually by a commercial power source as the main power and sometimes by a battery as a power supply, and in which the mounted battery is not left unused. SOLUTION: This equipment is constituted of the speaker main body 10 and a mounting base 23 which is fixed to a building face, in which a case 20 of the speaker main body 10 is removably mounted, in which power is supplied from the commercial power source in a state that the speaker main body 10 is mounted on the mounting base 23, and in which the power is supplied from a battery B of a battery box 29 formed in the rear face of the case 20 in a state that the speaker main body 10 is removed from the mounting base 23. In a state that the battery B is mounted on the battery box 29, because a protruding part 23f of the inside of the mounting base 23 abuts on the battery B in the battery box 29 even if the case 20 is mounted on the mounting base 23, the case 20 cannot be mounted on the mounting base 23 in a state that the battery B is mounted.
