PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain correct analytical results even when video analytical processing is interrupted or restarted by suppressing the detection leakage of an event generated due to the interruption/restart of the processing or the generation of deviations in the start position/end position of the event. SOLUTION: Information concerned with the progress state of video analytical processing is stored, and at the time of restarting the video analytical processing after interrupting the analytical processing, information concerned with the progress state of the video analytical processing is acquired (103). Then an analytical section to which video analysis is to be applied is calculated from the acquired information concerned with the progress state (104), the video analytical processing is applied only to the calculated analytical section (105) and the analytical result obtained before the interruption and the analytical result obtained after the restart are integrated (107) to obtain the analytical result of the whole image.
