PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized microphone without the need for connectors for mount on an apparatus because a conventional mount method of the small- sized microphone to a mobile unit or the like has required an isotropically conductive elastic connector or a connector with spring terminals inserted thereto resulting in increasing the number of components, the assembling man-hours and causing insufficient reliability of the electrical connection. SOLUTION: A metallic plunger 34 is fitted to a recessed part 32a of a circuit board 32 for the microphone 31 covered by a case 1 and supported by a backboard 33. The plunger 34 is in contact with and conductive to a conductive sheath 32b in the internal face of the recessed part, connected to a conductive pattern on an upper side of the circuit board via a through-hole 32c, and pushed downward by a coil spring 35. When the microphone is mounted overlappingly onto the circuit board of the apparatus, the tip of the plunger touches with a connection electrode of the circuit board and conductively connected thereto through a contact pressure by the coil spring. Thus, the connector being other component is not needed, the assembling process is simplified and the connection reliability is enhanced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
