PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the yield by shortening manufacturing time and mitigate an impact to be inflicted to a base, in a sealed body manufacturing method which enables the manufacture of the sealed body by folding the base and bonding the folded body with a specified adhesive to obtain the sealed body and a device using this method. SOLUTION: A pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied to a specified spot of the base to be conveyed by belt conveyance parts 22A and 22B with the help of a pressure-sensitive adhesive application means 28, and the base is inserted into and rolled by rolling jigs 23A and 23B and folded by sequentially pressing the face of the base as inserted into and rolled by the jigs 23A and 23B using center pressing parts 24A and 24B and end part pressing parts 25A, 25B, 26A and 26B.
