FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Fixation device for external fixation system for treatment of an injured bone including a grip, on opposite sides of which there are opposite recesses formed to grip an element of the orthopaedic fixation system. Said grip has a base and a head connected to the base, which determines the axis of the said external fixation device extending through the base and the head. Base and head are connected with the ability of a side translational movement relative to each other in opposite directions to grip the said element of the orthopaedic fixation system in any of the opposite recesses. External fixation system for treatment of an injured bone comprises at least one of the said fixation devices. Method of gripping a fixation element of the external fixation system for treatment of an injured bone involves stages, at which the above said element is engaged with the external fixation device having a head and a base, in opposite sides of which there are opposite recesses formed and which are connected with the ability of a side translational movement in opposite directions; the said element engaged with the external fixation device is moved relative to the external fixation device so that the head is displaced translationally relative to the base in one of the said opposite directions; and the said external fixation element is placed into one of the external fixation device recesses so that the external fixation device grips the said external fixation element.EFFECT: inventions provide the possibility of simultaneous movement of the fixation system in multiple planes.16 cl, 7 dwg |
