<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting mold which enables the full cooling control of poured molten metal, in which an extremely limited amount of foundry sand is used, preventing the occurrence of gas defect in the casting. <P>SOLUTION: The casting mold is provided with a metal base 4 which has a product cavity face 1 similarly larger than the external shape of the product and a ventilating mechanism to communicate with the back face of the product cavity face 1 provided thereto, and a coated coating layer 7 made of the foundry sand having air permeability at the product cavity face 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
