摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nitrogen oxide-removing catalyst and a catalyst which is required for actuation of a chemical reactor for removing nitrogen oxide with low electric power consumption and with high efficiency when excessive oxygen is present in combustion exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: A composite catalyst comprises a compound containing both of galium oxide and aluminum oxide and contains at least one addition element for forming spinel phase chosen from among Mn(2), Fe(2), Co(2), Ni(2), Cu(2) and Zn(2) by 2 to 35 mol% of galium oxide and aluminum oxide. Further, there is provided the chemical reactor in which excessive oxygen is reduced by applying the catalytic material to an upstream part of a chemical reaction section toward flow of a material to be treated and by utilizing catalytic reaction and simultaneously decomposition reaction of nitrogen oxide is accelerated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
