<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color filter for a liquid crystal display device which vividly reproduces the red color of a liquid crystal display using an LED light source as a light source. <P>SOLUTION: In the color filter used in the liquid crystal display device in which an LED is set as the light source, the chromaticity coordinates (x, y) of a red pixel in an XYZ color specification system chromaticity diagram in a C light source satisfy 0.37≤x≤0.54, and 0.26≤y≤0.3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
