PURPOSE: A voice processing circuit having a handsfree function in a vehicle audio system and a method therefor are provided to prevent the generation of cost because a separate handsfree is not mounted in a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer(13) controls the operation of a mobile communication terminal(29) of a driver which communicates with a mobile communication terminal of an object by wireless. A Bluetooth module(25) transceives with the mobile communication terminal(29) by wireless termination and origination signals and voice signals of the driver and the object . When the termination and origination signals are generated in the mobile communication terminal(29), a key input unit(27) outputs a hook-on signal to the microcomputer(13). A microphone(31) receives the voice signal of the driver in a state in which the mobile communication terminal(29) is in a hook-on state. If the mobile communication terminal(29) is in the hook-on state, a converting unit(17) mutes a voice signal of an audio device, converts the voice signal of the driver into a digital signal, and converts a digitally equalized voice signal of the object into an analog signal. A digital processing unit(19) equalizes the digital signal converted in the converting unit(17), a signal of a CD player or the voice signal of the object by a program in which an inter-different tuning condition is programmed according to a kind of a vehicle. The digital processing unit(19) outputs the voice signal of the driver to the Bluetooth module(25), and outputs the other signals to the converting unit(17). An amplifying unit(21) outputs the analog signal converted in the converting unit(17), and outputs the amplified signal to a speaker(23).
