PURPOSE: A double pedal used for a base drum is provided to allow a drum player to freely align a snare drum by removing parts of a double pedal, which are interrupted with the snare drum. CONSTITUTION: A double pedal includes a main pedal section(100), an auxiliary pedal section(200) and a connection shaft(300) for transferring rotational force of the auxiliary pedal section(200) to the main pedal section(100). The main pedal section(100) has a base plate(101), a first pedal(103) connected to the base plate(101) through a hinge(102), a lever(105) having a rotating shaft(104), a first column(106) upwardly extending from the base plate(101), a second column(107) position in opposite to the first column(106), a first beater rotating shaft(161) rotatably coupled to the first column(106), a first beater(163) fixed to the first beater rotating shaft(161), a first beater rotation converting unit(160), a second beater rotating shaft(171), a second beater(173) fixed to the second beater rotating shaft(171) and a second beater rotation converting unit(170).
