METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING FORGERY/ALTERATION OF SMART CARD USING IMAGE ENCRYPTION

PURPOSE: A method and a system for preventing forgery/alteration of a smart card using image encryption are provided to distinguish the forgery/alteration by comparing the first Hash value received from a certification server with the second Hash value restored from the smart card. CONSTITUTION: A forgery/alteration distinguishing request received from a user is transmitted to the certification server. A standard image corresponding to the forgery/alteration distinguishing request is received from the certification server and is processed by the image encryption. The second Hash value is extracted from the encryption data. The first Hash value is restored from the smart card. The first and the second Hash value are compared. The forgery/alteration of the smart card is verified.
