PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constantly maintain the transporting speeds of articles by eliminating speed variation caused by the articles.

SOLUTION: The motor control circuit 1 of an article inspection device 51 which inspects articles 55 carried on a transportation conveyor 60 on a manufacturing line controls the speed of a motor 62 which drives the conveyor 60 by feeding back the information on the rotation of the motor 62. A feedback circuit 3 compares a speed command and speed feedback from the motor 62 with each other and decides the voltage value for driving the motor 62 based on the compared result. In addition, a feedback characteristic correcting means 5 variably controls the gain of the feedback circuit 3 in accordance with the speed command.
