<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing apparatus of an apnea syndrome which precisely discriminates a low respiratory condition in addition to a respiratory standstill condition. <P>SOLUTION: This testing apparatus A generates change in a load corresponding to body motion obtained by respiration of a sleeping person, and discriminates the respiratory standstill condition or the low respiratory condition of the sleeping person on the basis of the change in a frequency of this respiratory signal. Since recovering respiratory operation made after the respiratory standstill condition or the low respiratory condition is faster than normal respiration, occurrence of the respiratory standstill condition or the low respiratory condition is precisely discriminated from the change in the frequency of the respiratory signal corresponding to the velocity of respiratory operation as mentioned before. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
