<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing catalyst keeping an excellent deodorizing effect over a long period of time and having high reaction accelerating effect per a unit weight. <P>SOLUTION: The deodorizing catalyst for decomposing an offensive smell component in air under plasma discharge has a composition ratio at least comprising 10-34 wt.% of zirconium oxide, 15-25 wt.% of manganese dioxide, 2-15 wt.% of carbon, 10-15 wt.% of potassium oxide, 10-40 wt.% of silicon dioxide and 5-15 wt.% of silicon carbide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
