<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for emergency medical care which can simplify complicated operations, can measure required data at required time and detect a difference from a usual value, and can report and instruct necessary treatments to a medical institution in response to an abnormal value reported to a control center. <P>SOLUTION: The communication system for emergency medical care stores usual blood pressure, pulse rate and body temperature at healthy time as usual data. A simplified portable wristwatch type sensor measures a current numerical value of a subject and the measured numerical value is then compared with the usual data. When the measured value exceeds the permissible limit of the usual value, the sensor transmits the occurrence of an abnormality and instructs a suitable treatment method to a medical instrument or the like according to the degree of the abnormality. The wristwatch type sensor may be further provided with a cellular phone function or a GPS (Global Positioning System) television phone function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
