SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING TEMPERATURE OF COIL OF SHORTER WORKPIECE

PURPOSE: A system for controlling temperature of coil of shorter workpiece is provided to control temperature of the coil continuously and properly although strip is positioned between FDT (finishing mill delivery temperature) gauge and CT (coiling temperature) gauge in case that the strip is a shorter workpiece during cooling of hot rolled strip. CONSTITUTION: The system for controlling temperature of coil of shorter workpiece comprises a coil length calculation part(309) for calculating length of coil to be cooled and judging whether the coil is a shorter workpiece or not; a signal processing part(320) for controlling transmission of output values outputted from the coil length calculation part(309) including a plural contact points A and contact points B; and first and second contact point parts(330,340) for controlling transmission of DC (down coiler) speed measured values to an interrupt control part according to output values outputted from the signal processing part(320) including the respective plural contact points A and contact points B, wherein values corresponding to the shorter workpiece are outputted if the coil is the shorter workpiece by judging whether the coil is a shorter workpiece or not in the coil length calculation part(309) if Fe stand(31) of hot finish rolling mill is metal-in, and contact points of the first and second contact point parts(330,340) are operated by passing the outputted values through the signal processing part(320) so that the DC speed measured values are inputted into the interrupt control part until the DC (down coiler) is metal-in.
