PURPOSE: A method for switching the display power management using a sensor is provided to keep a monitor a normal state in case that an operation of a keyboard and a mouse is not inputted for a predetermined time if a human sensor detects a user. CONSTITUTION: The human sensor to detect a human body is installed to a position on a front side of the monitor. On a state that a PC and the monitor are turned on, a function of the human sensor is set(402). If the function of the human sensor is set and the user is not detected through the human sensor for a set time, the monitor power is automatically turned off(406). On the state that the monitor power is turned off by the function of the human sensor, the monitor power is automatically turned on if the user is detected through the human sensor(409).
