<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal effects searching device capable of identifying the location of a searched object with simple operation even when a plurality of searched objects exist. <P>SOLUTION: The personal effects searching device is comprised of a transmitting master unit 10 for a searcher to operate, a plurality of slave units 40 possible to be appended on a searched object. The transmitting master unit is equipped with selection transmitting switches 12a, 12b, 12c for identifying a searched object appended with one receiving slave unit, a transmitting means capable of transmitting a unique signal peculiar to each receiving slave unit corresponding to a searched object identified with the selection transmitting switches. The receiving slave unit is equipped with a receiving means for receiving the unique signal from the transmitting master unit and a speaker hole 42 for performing oneself displaying operation corresponding to the unique signal.
