<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a part-mounting method and equipment which carry out a series of operations picking up a part from a part feed means and a delivery operation of delivering it to a bonding device by making a part attraction means of a part transfer device composed of a single reverse axis or turning axis, and controlling it by a control device. <P>SOLUTION: The part-mounting equipment 1A as an embodiment of this invention is equipped with an a part suction arm 1331 built into a part reversing unit 133 of a part transfer device 130 sliding on an X-rail 124 that extends in a horizontal position near a bonding device 140 which mounts a part S on a board P. The mounting equipment 1A is equipped with a control device 180 which controls the part attraction arm 1331 as follows. The part attraction arm 1331 receives the part S in a face-down state from a tray T where the parts are kept in a face-up state, approaches the part S in the tray T as tilting slightly upward above a horizontal line immediately before it attracts the part S, then becomes horizontal in position when it attracts the part S; reverses after it attracts the part S; then approaches the bonding device as tilting slightly downward below a horizontal line, immediately before it delivers the part S to the bonding device 140, and becomes horizontal in position when it delivers the part S to the bonding device 140. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
