FIELD: manufacture of road-building materials. SUBSTANCE: process comprises modifying sulfur and stirring modified sulfur with bitumen at weight ratio (0.03-1):1. According to invention, bitumen is preheated to 125-170 C and activated by cavitation-acoustic treatment for 5-15 min at 125-170 C using circulation factor 3-10, after which modification of sulfur is accomplished by adding thereto 0.5 to 10.0% of activated bitumen. EFFECT: reduced power consumption and improved physico-mechanical characteristics of road-building material. |
