PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal generating a Morse code signal in luminant type is provided to convert an inputted emergency signal message into a luminant Morse code in an emergent situation, thereby efficiently coping with the emergent situation. CONSTITUTION: A luminant emergent signal storage(107a) stores a preset emergent signal or an emergent signal inputted to a key input unit(102) from a user in luminant Morse code data type. A Morse code converter(107b) stores data for converting an emergent signal message inputted through the key input unit(102) into a luminant Morse code. A terminal controller(101) controls the luminant emergent signal storage(107a) and the Morse code converter(107b) according to a direction of the key input unit(102), and manages various flows of the emergent signal. A luminant unit converts the Morse code into an optical signal under control of the terminal controller(101). The luminant unit includes a back light(106) and a display window mounted outside of a mobile communication terminal.
