PURPOSE: A method for processing a failure depending on whether a board is mounted is provided to store state information of a board depending on whether the board is mounted during initialization, and to periodically check whether the board is mounted, then to change the state information according to checked results, thereby efficiently generating/managing an alarm. CONSTITUTION: If a system is initialized(S400), a failure processor checks whether a board is mounted on a shelf(S402). If so, the failure processor checks whether a certain board is dismounted(S404). If so, the failure processor transmits dismounted state information to a state processor(S406). The failure processor periodically checks whether a board is mounted on the shelf(S408). If the board is dismounted, the failure processor decides whether the dismounted board is mounted(S410). If so, the failure processor transmits mounted state information to the state processor(S412). The state processor converts a dismounted state into a mounted state, and stores the mounted state information. |
