A turning device (2) rotates a conveyor belt through 180 degrees about an axis along belt travel direction following a deflection drum (12) in the travel direction. Another turning device turns back the belt at a 180 degree angle in front of other deflection drum. Each turning device has a hollow support structure to which two spiral guides are disposed internally to maintain support rollers (13). The guides lie opposite one another and execute a helical turn of about 180 degrees over a length of the support structure. |
