<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timing control apparatus for a dual mode or multimode wireless communication apparatus, which prevents duplicate reception operations between wireless communication systems without the need for time conversion between the wireless communication systems whose system clock frequencies differ from each other. <P>SOLUTION: A common system timer 111 and a CPU 112 for controlling the system timer 111 are provided to a plurality of wireless communication systems whose system clock frequencies differ from each other. The CPU 112 selects the system clock frequency of the system timer 111 to be the system clock frequency of the wireless communication system having the highest system clock frequency in a plurality of the wireless communication systems, and controls a timer period of the system timer 111 to be least common multiples of timer periods of the plurality of wireless communication systems. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
