<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gene required for the regulation and maturation of urease in H. pylori, etc. <P>SOLUTION: This gene is a part of a specific nucleic acid sequence and corresponds to nucleic acid sequences corresponding to genes called as ureE, ureF, ureG, ureH and ureG, or their modified sequences, or an isolated nucleic acid of at least one optional part of these nucleic acid sequences excluding the part of the nucleic acid of ureI gene corresponding to the nucleotides 209-282 of specific nucleotide sequences in the optional fragments of the ureI gene part (wherein, in the above part, regarding the characteristics of polypeptides expressed by H. pylori such as UreE, UreF, UreG, UreH or UreI, the functional characteristics of the polypeptides encoded by the above parts are either preserved, attenuated or removed). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
