PURPOSE: Provided are pellets of a plant seed, a method for producing the pellets and a method for raising a plant using the pellets, whereby it is possible to obtain the pellets without problems caused by chemical reactions during the preparation and to raise the plant without physiological problems caused by moisture contained in the pellet. CONSTITUTION: The pellets are prepared by steps of: mixing peat moss with at least one selected from a fertilizer, a growth controller, a bactericide and an insecticide and an aqueous adhesive; compressing the mixture into a size and a shape, to which a seed can be inserted; drying the compressed body; and making an inserting hole through which a plant seed can be inserted and inserting the plant seed into the compressed body, followed by closing the hole. The plant seed is any one selected from the Calendula officinalis, Salvia splendens, and Glycine max.
